KILN DRIED DOUGLAS FIR TIMBERS

Green Douglas Fir timbers have been used for many years and perform beautifully in many applications. However, many contractors, tired of callbacks and complaints due to checked, warped, twisted and split beams are now asking for a better product. Here is a better product that you can sell with confidence.

Our 1&Btr Douglas Fir timbers are all FOHC, selected for appearance, and kiln dried to 19% or less 1" in from all 4 surfaces. Far more stable than green timbers, this kiln dried product greatly reduces fiber movement and most of the problems associated with it.

We keep inventory on the ground at our Clackamas facility and can special order most other sizes in as little as 1 to 2 weeks. Call us for more information.
