Western hemlock is milled into many different products and is favored by craftsmen for the high quality of its finish lumber. Clear lumber milled from hemlock is fine textured, straight-grained, free of pitch and it splinters less than other softwood clears. These characteristics make it an excellent wood for molding, millwork and a large variety of interior paneling products.

- It is a kiln-dried product with excellent stability. Warp, cup, and twist is minimal when properly conditioned and acclimated.
